I did these two characters a couple of years ago for a series of commercials, working with Character Shop (https://www.thecharactershop.com). All the characters in those commercials were funny versions of popular toys: in this case, Barbie and Ken dolls. Ken was meant to be seen only inside a car, so no legs were needed. His eyes were just painted on the face, like the real doll. Instead, in Barbie's case, it was requested a bit more acting, so the topology of her face was more rigging friendly, but, at the same time, she still should've look like a real barbie doll.
